"Why Are You in My House?"-When Hospitality Ends
I elaborated on my beliefs regarding Jesus, the Great Tribulation, and the significance of Revelation 7, which speaks of multitudes emerging from it, praising God in white robes. I also conveyed my understanding of who God’s children are—not defined by territory but by their faith in Jesus. I shared some insights about my travels thus far. He introduced himself as a minister with a college background and shared his experiences in counseling others. As the evening approached 9:30, he offered his assistance and extended an invitation for me to stay at his home. After being on the road for 48 days, the idea of stretching my legs and continuing our scripture discussions was quite appealing.
In line with Galatians 1:8-9, I was warmly welcomed by the family (the farm home is shared by two families), who graciously provided a bedroom for my stay. Our conversations predominantly revolved around scriptures, with some sharing about our lives. I also informed them of some of the insidious evil and deception growing in media and music.
On Friday afternoon, I dedicated my time to praising and ministering unto the Lord, truly feeling His presence, and I was inspired to meditate on Psalm 62.
On Sunday morning, I was invited to attend his sermon in person, alongside his wife and granddaughter.
Later that afternoon, I began to feel a sense of tiredness, and I was told in the spirit that I would be leaving the following day. During my stay, they had inquired about my departure plans. I believe in honoring the hospitality extended to me and not overstaying my welcome (though they offered me to stay longer), so I decided to mention my departure in the morning.
When I went into the kitchen and sat down with the pastor, I informed him of my decision to leave. He inquired about my plans and where I intended to go, and the conversation took an interesting turn.
We started to touch on the topic of Israel and Palestine, and I shared my concerns about the troubling leadership they're facing. He mentioned that certain individuals in Israel, including the prime minister—who I believe has some serious issues—may be among the 144,000.
Revelation 14:3-4 ESV 3 and they were singing a new song before the throne and before the four living creatures and before the elders. No one could learn that song except the 144,000 who had been redeemed from the earth. 4 It is these who have not defiled themselves with women, for they are virgins. It is these who follow the Lamb wherever he goes. These have been redeemed from mankind as first fruits for God and the Lamb,
Moreover, I told him many in Israel do not believe in Jesus, and the Prime Minister (who is not a virgin) and his wife are said by others to have a criminal record. I mentioned his psychological report available online from the early 2000's, and it had been professionally documented, and he exhibits the behaviors associated with it which are quite terrible.
This pastor clearly disagreed with my view. He started to accuse me stating I cannot be counseled. He had looked at my blog a couple of days prior to this conversation. During that time he saw photos and testimonies of God's salvific work. I told him he doesn't know what he is saying in regards to counseling. I pointed out that God’s people are those who believe in His son, not merely a geographical area. We are to be lights in the world. The war crying people of God always came in the name of the Holy One of Israel. Therefore, if we believe in Jesus, and God says we are to be light in this life, then we too are Israelites. The scriptures are clear about this. I asked him to come to the water to show him something miraculous of God. He refused. He got a bit agitated and asked, “Why are you in my house?!” I reminded him that he had invited me over.
He claimed to have been studying scripture for a long time and tried to suggest that I was being dishonest. He said he watches five different news channels, and I asked why he subjects himself to that. I brought up biblical genealogy from Noah to Shem, Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, and referenced how the woman at the well was a Samaritan who only had the Pentateuch which mentions Hebrews, not Jews. She called Jesus a Jew and He clearly wasn’t. I also made other scriptural points and asked him to consider when the word "Jew" came into existence.
I expressed my belief that our nation’s media and leadership can be quite deceiving, mentioning that Melania Trump has been exposed as impersonating a woman but is a biological man, and the disturbing actions associated with Israel's prime minister. He simply replied, “So.” It’s disheartening that he doesn’t see the gravity of these issues. I noted that not much has changed since ancient Rome, and despite his attempts to convince me I was lying, I decided it was best to leave. I quickly gathered my things, thanked his wife and daughter, and exited.
