Stromsburg, NE

While camping at Buckley Park in Stromsburg, NE, I was told to preach the gospel and chose to preach within the community near businesses for 2–3 hours, three days in a row. I met some locals who shared some of their practices of faith with me, New Testaments were given out, and some rejected the gospel.

One man prayed for me, who had an softened look in his blue eyes. Later that afternoon, while sitting in the park, I felt the presence of God fill the air with His peace and love. I didn't want to leave at that moment. The colors of the trees were more vibrant, but more than that, the spirit of love that encompassed the area was so beautiful.

I pray for them as Christ instructs us to pray. I hope some seeds fall in softened hearts, and that they are part of the salvific, regenerating work of Christ.
